DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 – Nairobi to Salt Lick Wildlife Sanctuary
Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive south along the scenic Nairobi–Mombasa highway to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch and later enjoy an afternoon game drive across the sanctuary’s rolling plains and acacia woodlands. This private reserve is famous for its Salt Lick Safari Lodge, uniquely built on stilts above a waterhole and salt lick that attract a wide variety of animals — including elephants, buffalo, antelope, and lions. In the evening, relax at the lodge as you watch wildlife gather around the waterhole illuminated by floodlights.

Day 2 – Salt Lick to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you exit the sanctuary and proceed to Amboseli National Park. This park offers some of the best opportunities to view free-ranging elephants against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive across the park’s open plains, swamps, and acacia forests. Amboseli is home to elephants, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species.

Day 3 – Amboseli to Tsavo West, then return to Nairobi
After breakfast, drive to the neighboring Tsavo West National Park, a haven for adventure lovers. Enjoy a game drive en route to Mzima Springs, a natural oasis fed by underground rivers from Mount Kilimanjaro, where hippos and crocodiles can be viewed through an underwater glass observatory. Explore the Shetani Lava Flow, a dramatic landscape of solidified volcanic rock. After a rewarding morning, have lunch at your lodge or en route before departing back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing.
- Up to 61 days before safari: No charge
- 36–60 days: 20% charge
- 16–35 days: 50% charge
- Less than 16 days: 100% charge
A non-refundable service fee of $25 per person applies.
