DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 – Nairobi / Mombasa to Salt Lick Wildlife Sanctuary
Depart early in the morning and drive through the scenic Nairobi–Mombasa highway to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, located adjacent to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa, followed by check-in at Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
After a short rest, embark on an afternoon game drive through the sanctuary’s rolling grasslands and acacia thickets. You’ll encounter herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and numerous bird species. As dusk falls, return to your lodge to enjoy the magical sight of animals gathering around the illuminated waterhole — an unforgettable experience that sets Salt Lick apart.

Day 2 – Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi / Mombasa
Rise early for a sunrise game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak. Watch elephants bathing, lions returning from a night’s hunt, and a variety of birds greeting the day. Return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by a relaxed mid-morning at leisure. Later, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi or Mombasa, arriving in the afternoon.
